HiStone LUNA X – a POS system that keeps up on your busiest days

The HiStone LUNA X is built for the kind of small-business day where the till simply cannot slow you down. The 15.6" Full HD capacitive touchscreen is large and sharp enough that staff can find a product and close a sale with a single tap — even in the middle of a packed lunch service. The screen responds immediately, so there's no awkward pause while a customer watches the counter.

Processor and storage

Inside you get an Intel Core i3 processor and 8 GB of RAM. In practice, that means the receipt screen opens fast and orders don't hang mid-transaction. The 128 GB SSD boots the system noticeably quicker than a traditional spinning drive — the morning open is done before the coffee finishes brewing, not after.

Connections

The LUNA X comes with five USB ports, one powered-USB port for accessories, three RS232 serial ports, Gigabit Ethernet, and Wi-Fi (802.11ac). There's also a cash drawer port (RJ11), HDMI output, and an audio jack. That means you can connect a receipt printer, barcode scanner, and cash drawer without hunting for adapters — cables plug straight in.

Ethernet and Wi-Fi give you two ways to stay online depending on your setup: a wired connection if you want rock-solid stability, wireless if the till needs to move around the floor.

Adjustable stand

The pole stand adjusts in height, so the screen sits at the right level whether your counter is standing height or a lower service table. The black finish fits quietly into most shop and café interiors.

In the box: power supply unit and EU power cable. The operating system is ordered separately — get in touch with Vaivatta and we'll help you choose the right option and take care of the installation. You won't need to work out hardware compatibility on your own.

Warranty

The LUNA X comes with a 36-month warranty. For the first three years, if the hardware fails, it's covered — one less thing on your plate.
