Diebold Nixdorf BEETLE A — a POS system that keeps up with your busiest days

The BEETLE A is a compact all-in-one POS terminal designed to handle the daily grind of a working service environment. Its 15" Full HD touchscreen (1920×1080 pixels) uses projected capacitive technology, which means it responds accurately whether your staff are working quickly at lunch rush or carefully at closing time.

A 10" customer display ships in the box. Customers see exactly what is rung up in real time — fewer misunderstandings, faster throughput at the counter.

Connectivity — works however your counter is set up

The BEETLE A covers virtually every peripheral you are likely to need:

• ·4× USB and 2× powered USB for receipt printers, barcode scanners, and other devices
• ·2× RS232 for legacy serial connections such as cash drawers
• ·Ethernet and Wi-Fi so you can connect over cable or wirelessly
• ·Bluetooth for wireless peripherals
• ·RJ11 for cash drawer or similar

In most setups you can connect everything at the counter without extra hubs or adapters.

An Intel Celeron Dual Core processor at 2.0 GHz, 4 GB RAM, and a 128 GB SSD keep the terminal responsive through a full service day. The SSD boots faster than a spinning hard drive and handles vibration without complaint — a detail that matters more than it sounds in a busy kitchen or workshop.

The operating system is Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2019, a build designed for long-term deployment. It receives security updates for years without forced feature upgrades, so you are not interrupted by unexpected reboots or interface changes mid-shift.
