Colormetrics P5500 – a POS that keeps up when the queue reaches the door

The P5500 is built for the counter where every second counts. Its 15.6" Full HD touchscreen responds instantly — whether it's a quiet Tuesday morning or a packed Friday night with a line out the door. Projected Capacitive touch technology reads your input accurately every time, even through gloves or with damp fingers.

Fanless and built to last

There is no fan inside this machine. Fewer moving parts means fewer things that can go wrong. The M.2 SSD boots the system in seconds and stays fast year after year — none of the gradual slowdown you get from a traditional hard drive. You can run it seven days a week without worrying about overheating or unplanned downtime.

Enough ports to connect what you already own

The P5500 has eight USB ports, including one powered-USB — so your receipt printer or cash drawer gets power directly from the terminal, no separate power supply needed. Three RS232 serial ports mean older peripherals plug straight in without adapters. Gigabit Ethernet keeps the connection stable even when the rest of the network is busy. A dedicated cash drawer port (RJ11) is ready to go out of the box.
