Colormetrics P5100 – a POS system that keeps running

The Colormetrics P5100 is built for the daily grind of cafés, restaurants, and retail counters. The 15" projected capacitive touchscreen responds accurately to a fingertip even during the Friday-evening rush, when orders are coming in fastest. At 300 cd/m² brightness, the screen stays readable in a well-lit checkout environment without squinting or tilting.

Silent and low-maintenance by design

The P5100 has no fan. In practice, that means dust doesn't accumulate inside the unit the way it does in fan-cooled machines — and there's no background hum at the counter to distract staff or customers. The M.2 SSD (128 GB) boots the system quickly and keeps performing reliably even in a warm counter environment.

The Intel Core i5 processor handles your POS software without slowing down, even when several applications are running in the background at once.

Every port you'll need, already there

The P5100 comes with eight USB-A ports, USB-C, powered USB, three RS-232 serial ports, and Gigabit Ethernet. The cash drawer output (RJ11) is built in, so a standard cash drawer connects directly — no adapter needed. That port selection covers virtually every peripheral a typical till setup requires: receipt printers, barcode scanners, customer-facing displays, and payment terminals, all without hunting for adapters.

The unit ships with a power supply and EU power cable. The operating system is ordered separately, so you're not paying for licences you don't need.
