This is a 2D imaging scanner, which means it handles both traditional 1D barcodes and 2D formats including QR codes — the kind you'll find on supplier labels, delivery documents, and loyalty cards alike. The Green Spot feature projects a small green dot onto the scan point the moment a code registers successfully. You know the read worked without glancing at a screen, which keeps the queue moving and cuts out the double-scan habit.

The GBT4500 carries an IP52 rating, meaning it shrugs off dust and the occasional light splash — useful in a café environment or a busy workshop bench. A 36-month warranty backs the hardware, so the investment holds up on paper as well as in practice. Country of manufacture is Vietnam.
