The Gryphon GBT4200 is built for daily use in retail shops, cafés and workshops where staff need to move freely between the counter and the shelves. The Bluetooth connection reaches up to 100 metres, so your team can scan items anywhere on the floor without walking back to the till between every product.

Keeps up when the queue builds

The scanner reads at 400 scans per second using a linear imager. In practice, that means the barcode is read the moment the scanner meets it — customers are not left waiting at the counter because the device needs a second pass.

Connects to your existing till — no new purchases needed

The GBT4200 supports USB, RS232 and keyboard-wedge (KBW) interfaces. A USB cable and a combined charging and transmitter cradle are included in the box, so most till systems recognise the scanner straight away — no additional drivers or adapters required. If your checkout already has any of these connections, the scanner works from day one.

Survives drops and counter splashes

IP52 protection means the device handles dust and water droplets. It is not waterproof, but the splashes that happen naturally on a café counter or shop till will not cause any damage. The white finish fits well in lighter-coloured retail environments.
