Most laptops are built for desks. The TOUGHBOOK 56 is built for everywhere else. With an IP53 protection rating, it shrugs off dust and water splashes — so whether you're out on a job site, walking a warehouse floor, or working from the back of a van, you don't need to baby it or make special arrangements to keep it running.
Screen you can actually see outside
The 14" capacitive multi-touch display runs at 1920×1200 pixels and hits 1,000 cd/m² brightness. In plain terms: you can read the screen in direct sunlight without shielding it with your hand. The touch layer responds even when you're wearing gloves — a genuine advantage for field work, not just a spec on a sheet.
When touch isn't the right tool for the job, the physical QWERTZ keyboard (DE layout) lets you type accurately for as long as you need.
