About

Zebra ET401 – a tablet built for the job, not the desk

Most consumer tablets aren't made for the places your work actually happens: warehouse aisles, a busy shop floor, an outdoor site, or the dashboard of a service van. The Zebra ET401 is. It combines an 8" display, industrial-grade durability, and fast connectivity in a single device that earns its keep every shift.

Connection that holds — even in awkward spots

The ET401 supports Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be), so it gets the most out of modern business access points. When the wireless network runs thin, it switches cleanly to 5G — via a physical SIM or eSIM — without needing a separate mobile router. GPS handles location, NFC speeds up payments and product identification, and Bluetooth keeps your peripherals in the loop.

A screen you can actually read outside

The 1920×1200 display runs at 600 cd/m², which means it stays readable in direct sunlight — not just indoors under controlled lighting. The capacitive multi-touch screen responds with gloves on, which matters when you're working in the cold or with dirty hands.

Cameras and audio that earn their place

The 16 MP rear camera handles product photos, document scanning, and visual inspections. The 8 MP front camera is there for video calls with your support team or head office. The speaker and vibration alert make sure notifications get through in noisy environments — a loading bay or a busy kitchen, for instance.

Enough processing power for business software

A Qualcomm Octa Core processor at 2.0 GHz, 6 GB RAM, and 64 GB internal storage run business applications without lag. A microSD slot lets you expand storage when the job demands it. Android with Google Mobile Services means apps from the Play Store work straight out of the box.

IP68 — it goes where the work goes

IP68 protection means the device handles dust and water immersion — not just a splash in passing rain. It is an industry standard rating, not a marketing note. If the tablet gets wet, it keeps working.

Swap the battery in the field

The 6,100 mAh battery is removable. Keep a fully charged spare in your pocket and swap it mid-shift without hunting for a power socket. Your team stays on the floor, not waiting by a charging trolley.
