About
Evolis Edikio Access — Plastic Card Printer for Small Businesses
The Evolis Edikio Access is a single-sided plastic card printer built for everyday use in cafés, retail shops, and workshops. When you need loyalty cards, staff ID badges, or pricing cards done quickly and in-house, this printer handles the job — no external print house, no minimum order, no waiting weeks for delivery.
Print quality and speed
At 300 dpi (12 dots/mm), logos and text come out sharp on every card. The printer runs at up to 240 cards per hour — in practice, one finished card every 15 seconds. Thermal transfer printing (monochrome) produces a durable result that holds up in a wallet or on a keyring without fading.
What's in the box
The Edikio Access kit includes everything you need to get started the same day:
- USB cable (1.8 m)
- Power supply and power cable
- Edikio card design software
- 100 blank plastic cards
- Ribbon for your first batch of cards
The software runs on Windows and lets you design card templates yourself — no graphic design experience needed.
Connection and setup
The printer connects to your computer via USB. Drivers install from the included media or from the Evolis website. If you'd rather not deal with setup yourself, Vaivatta can handle it remotely or on-site — just get in touch and we'll take care of it.
Warranty and origin
The Evolis Edikio Access comes with a 24-month warranty. The printer is manufactured in France.
Who is this for?
- Cafés and restaurants that want to print their own loyalty cards in-house
- Retail shops that need staff or visitor ID badges on demand
- Workshops and offices where cards serve as access credentials or customer records
When you print cards yourself, you can update the design or details whenever you need to — no more ordering a new batch and waiting for it to arrive.
