This Elo Touch Solutions 38.1 cm (15") open-frame touchscreen is built for permanent installation into POS counters, self-service kiosks, and in-store display fixtures. The open-frame design means the screen mounts directly into your existing enclosure or cabinet — you decide the placement and the look, without being locked into a proprietary housing.

AccuTouch technology that handles daily wear

The screen uses Elo's AccuTouch resistive technology, which responds to touch from a finger, stylus, or any firm object. The resistive surface also works through gloves — useful on a café counter or a workshop desk where hands aren't always bare. The 16 ms response time keeps interactions feeling immediate, whether it's a Friday dinner rush or a queue of customers at a retail checkout.

Connections that fit what you already have

Touch input connects to your POS computer via USB. The video signal runs over VGA, DisplayPort, or HDMI — meaning this screen fits practically any POS setup without hunting for adapters. USB, VGA, and HDMI cables are included in the box, so you can get up and running without a separate cable order. An RS-232 serial port is also available if your POS system requires it.

The native resolution of 1024 × 768 pixels and a 4:3 aspect ratio suit the many POS software packages designed for a square screen format. A 700:1 contrast ratio keeps the display readable even in brightly lit shop floors.

Installation and setup

As an open-frame unit, this screen is designed for fixed installation — it does not include a separate stand or enclosure. A power supply unit is not included and needs to be ordered separately.
