The Elo I-Series 5 Steel is built for environments where the till never gets a quiet day. The steel chassis shrugs off the knocks and splashes that come with counter life — IP54 protection on the front and IP65 on the rear means steam from the dishwasher or the odd coffee spill won't bring your checkout to a standstill.

The 21.5-inch Full HD display (1920 × 1080) stays crisp regardless of the angle — 178° of viewing range both horizontally and vertically. Whether a customer is leaning across the counter or staff glance at the screen sideways during a rush, the image holds. Projected Capacitive touch with 10 simultaneous touch points means the screen responds to a natural finger touch with no need to press hard.

One cable, or go wireless — your choice

Power over Ethernet support means a single Ethernet cable delivers both the network connection and the power, so you need one fewer socket behind the counter. When PoE isn't available, the unit supports Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) and Bluetooth. USB-A and USB-C ports let you connect a receipt printer, cash drawer, or other peripherals directly to the unit without a separate hub.

Android 14 with Google Mobile Services, ready to go

The operating system is Android 14 with full Google Mobile Services certification. In practice, that means the POS apps you find on the Play Store install directly — no workarounds, no sideloading. The Qualcomm Snapdragon QCS6490 processor paired with 8 GB of RAM keeps things running smoothly when the queue is out the door and multiple apps are open at once. 64 GB of storage covers your POS software and a full day of transactions without housekeeping.

Built-in camera and speaker
