Long-range SE5800 imager

The DS3608 ER (extended range) comes fitted with Zebra's SE5800 imager, which reads 2D barcodes at significantly greater distances than a standard scanner. In practice, this means you can scan items on high shelving, on pallets, or in awkward spots without stretching, climbing, or repositioning the goods. The scan completes from where you're standing.

IP67 protection and vibration alert

The IP67 rating means the scanner is fully dust-tight and can withstand brief immersion in water. The built-in vibration alert confirms a successful read even in noisy environments where an audible beep would be lost in the background — useful on a busy warehouse floor or near machinery.

FIPS 140-2 certified

The DS3608 meets the FIPS 140-2 security standard. If your business is subject to security audits or operates in a regulated sector, this certification is already in place — nothing extra to arrange.
