The Citizen CT-S2000/L is a direct thermal receipt printer built for the steady pace of cafés, restaurants, and retail counters. At 220 mm per second, receipts are done before the next customer reaches the till — Friday evening included.

Two colours, no ink cartridge

The CT-S2000/L prints in two colours using direct thermal technology — no ink cartridge, no ribbon, no consumable to run out at the worst moment. You can highlight totals or promotional text on the receipt in a second colour without adding any hardware. Fewer moving parts means longer intervals between any maintenance attention.

Paper widths that work with what you already have

The printer accepts four paper widths: 58, 60, 80, and 82.5 mm, with a maximum print width of 80 mm. If your paper supplier or point-of-sale setup changes, the printer stays put — you won't need to replace it just because the roll size has shifted.

Connects to your existing till setup

The CT-S2000/L works over USB or RS232 serial port. The interface cable is ordered separately so you can choose exactly what fits your current counter setup. The printer speaks ESC/POS, the command language supported by the widest range of POS software on the market — if your till software talks to receipt printers, it almost certainly talks to this one.

Ready to place on the counter

The power supply unit is included in the box. The printer is a compact white desktop unit that sits neatly beside your till or on the counter without taking over the workspace. Manufactured in Japan, backed by a 24-month warranty.
