The Citizen CT-E301 is a direct thermal receipt printer built to handle the demands of a busy counter — in a café, restaurant, or retail shop. No ink cartridges, no ribbons. Load paper and you're ready to go.

Keeps pace on your busiest evenings

With a print speed of up to 250 mm/s, the receipt is in your customer's hand before the queue has a chance to build. Print quality is 203 dpi (8 dots/mm) — sharp enough for clear text and standard barcodes. The automatic cutter trims every receipt cleanly, with no tearing and no delay at the counter.

Connects to the till setup you already have

The CT-E301 connects to your point-of-sale system via USB (Type B). The built-in cash drawer output lets you wire your cash drawer directly to the printer, so the drawer opens automatically whenever a receipt prints. Maximum paper width is 80 mm, maximum print width 72 mm — both match the most common receipt roll sizes. Rolls up to 83 mm in diameter fit the compartment, which means fewer mid-shift paper changes.

Easy to wipe down

The housing is disinfectable — a practical detail in food-service environments and customer-facing counters where surfaces are cleaned several times a day.

Everything you need is in the box

The package includes a power supply unit, power cable, and a quick-start guide. You have everything required to get the printer running from day one, without a separate trip to the supplier. The printer also has 8 MB of flash memory, which is enough space for a logo or a custom receipt template.

The CT-E301 comes with a 24-month warranty. Manufactured in China.
