Zebra DS6878/LI4278 Charging Cradle

This Zebra cradle is built to keep your DS6878 or LI4278 wireless barcode scanner charged and ready whenever you need it. It handles both charging and communication to your POS or computer, so the scanner is always in shape for the next customer — not sitting somewhere on the counter with a half-empty battery.

Why a cradle makes a difference

Without a fixed home, a wireless scanner tends to wander. It ends up wedged behind the till or left on a shelf, and nobody notices the battery is flat until there's a queue at the counter. This cradle gives the scanner a clear spot — one that staff will actually use, because it's right there and obvious.

When the scanner sits in the cradle, the battery charges automatically. During quieter moments at the till, you're building up charge for the next busy stretch without thinking about it.

The cradle also handles the data connection between the scanner and your POS or PC. That means no separate cable running from the scanner to the register during the day — the cradle takes care of it.

What's in the box — and what isn't

The cradle is supplied without a power supply and without a connection cable. If you already have a compatible power supply and cable from an earlier Zebra device, they will most likely work here too. If not, they need to be sourced separately — contact Vaivatta and we will point you to the right accessories.
