This connection module is designed specifically for the BC9600 series cordless scanner, giving it a stable, wired link to your Ethernet or Profinet network. Where wireless simply isn't an option — on a busy production floor, in a warehouse with interference, or inside an automated logistics line — this module keeps data moving without interruption.

Connections

• ·Ethernet / Profinet – M12 connector rated for industrial use; handles vibration, moisture, and mechanical stress that would trouble a standard RJ45
• ·Power – 5-pin power connector; accepts either an external 10–30 VDC supply or Power over Ethernet (PoE)

Compatibility

This module is designed exclusively for the Datalogic BC9600 base station. Before ordering, confirm that you have a BC9600 model — it is not compatible with other Datalogic base stations.

Built for the factory floor

The M12 connector is the standard choice in industrial settings for good reason: it locks in place and holds up where ordinary connectors fail. Profinet support means the module integrates directly into Siemens and other leading automation systems without additional adapters or conversion hardware.

Flexible power options

Run the module from a dedicated 10–30 VDC power source, or take advantage of an existing PoE switch in your cabling setup — no separate power supply needed in that case. This gives you real flexibility when planning the installation around what's already in place.
