About
Seiko Thermal Printing Mechanism for Kiosks and Self-Service Terminals
This Seiko OEM printing mechanism is built for kiosks, ticket dispensers, and self-service terminals where reliable, fast receipt or ticket printing is needed day in, day out. It runs on direct thermal printing — no ink cartridges, no ribbons — which keeps maintenance straightforward and downtime low.
Print Quality and Speed
At 203 dpi (8 dots/mm), output is sharp enough for barcodes, plain text, and simple graphics — everything a kiosk receipt or event ticket typically needs. Print speed reaches up to 200 mm/s, so each receipt or ticket is in the customer's hand within seconds. In a busy queue, that matters.
Paper Width and Auto-Cutter
The mechanism accepts media up to 80 mm wide, with a maximum print width of 72 mm. The built-in auto-cutter trims each receipt or ticket cleanly after every print. No tearing, no ragged edges — a detail that counts in public-facing environments where the terminal runs continuously and you are not standing next to it to help.
An OEM Component, Not a Standalone Printer
This is an installation mechanism — an OEM component designed to be integrated into a larger device or kiosk enclosure. It is aimed at hardware vendors, kiosk builders, and system integrators who need a dependable print engine at the core of their own solution. If you are building or sourcing a complete kiosk unit, this mechanism is the part that handles the printing.
Warranty
The mechanism comes with a 24-month warranty.
