Why dot matrix?

Dot matrix printers are the right tool when you need duplicate copies of the same receipt — kitchen order slips being the obvious example — or when a thermal printer would struggle with the heat, grease, and steam of a working kitchen. Where a thermal printer fades, the TM-U220IIB keeps producing a clean, legible print.

RS232 connection
