The Colormetrics C1000 is a 10.1-inch Android tablet POS built for small businesses where sales don't happen at a single fixed point. A server can take orders at the table, a shop assistant can help customers on the floor, and a market stall holder can handle payments at the edge of the tent — the device goes where the work is.
Practical hardware for everyday use
The C1000 runs wirelessly over Wi-Fi (802.11b/g/n) and Bluetooth, so cables won't limit where you can go. When you need to slot it into a fixed counter setup, the Micro-USB port handles that too. An SD card slot lets you expand storage if you need it, and the 2 MP webcam doubles as a barcode scanner when your POS app supports it.
The 10.1-inch projected capacitive touchscreen responds accurately to a fingertip — no stylus needed — and the 1280×800 resolution keeps your POS software readable without squinting or zooming in on a busy Friday evening.
An Intel Atom processor with 2 GB RAM keeps Android 5.1 running smoothly for typical POS workloads. The 32 GB SSD gives you enough room for the POS software itself and a healthy store of daily transaction logs.
Battery and power
Both a power supply unit and a battery are included in the box. You can unplug the device while serving customers and charge it back up during quieter moments — useful in a café where staff move between the floor and the counter throughout the day.
Warranty and origin
The C1000 comes with a 12-month warranty and is manufactured in Taiwan.
Compatibility and getting started
