CipherLab RS36 is a rugged Android handheld with a 2D barcode scanner, 4G, and NFC — keeps data collection running in the warehouse and out in the field.
About
CipherLab RS36 – A Handheld Built for a Full Day's Work
The CipherLab RS36 is designed for professional data collection in environments where equipment takes a beating: warehouses, shop floors, service workshops, and fieldwork. IP65 and IP68 ratings mean it handles dust, splashes, and brief submersion without complaint — a damp loading bay or an accidental drop won't put it out of action.
Barcode Scanning That Keeps Up With You
The Zebra SE4770 imaging module reads 2D barcodes quickly, even from worn labels, awkward angles, or less-than-perfect lighting. Work doesn't stop because a sticker is slightly creased or the shelf lighting is dim.
Connected All Day, Whatever the Setting
The RS36 supports Wi-Fi, 4G LTE, Bluetooth, and NFC in a single device. Inside the warehouse it runs on Wi-Fi; out in the field it switches to 4G without any manual fuss. NFC speeds up near-field logging or access control where that's part of the job. Built-in GPS records locations when route tracking is needed.
A Screen You Can Actually Read Outside
The 5.5-inch capacitive touchscreen runs at 720×1440 pixels and 630 cd/m² brightness — readable in direct sunlight, not just under fluorescent warehouse lights. The 16 MP rear camera handles documentation: delivery confirmations, damage reports, goods-in inspections. The 5 MP front camera is there if a video call comes up while you're on site.
Performance That Lasts the Shift
A Qualcomm Octa Core processor running at 2.0 GHz, 4 GB RAM, and 64 GB Flash storage keep Android running smoothly and applications responsive throughout the day. The 4,000 mAh battery ships in the box, along with a hand-strap ready to fit straight away. The power supply unit is ordered separately.
Ready to Deploy on Android
Because it runs Android, the apps and MDM management tools your team already uses work straight out of the box — no extra drivers, no setup project to manage. The USB-C port handles both charging and data transfer on the same cable.
