TSC Alpha 40L – portable label printer for work where it happens

Prints clearly, even on the move

At 203 dpi (8 dots/mm), print quality is sharp enough for barcodes, price labels, and address stickers without having to squint or re-scan. Maximum print speed is 127 mm/s, so a queue of labels clears quickly even during the rush. Media width goes up to 112 mm and print width up to 104 mm, covering most standard commercial label sizes you're likely to be using already.

Connects wirelessly to your iPhone or iPad — no adapter needed

Bluetooth 5.0 connects directly to iOS devices, which is a genuine practical advantage if your shop or workshop already runs on iPhone or iPad. No dongles, no workarounds. NFC lets you pair the printer instantly by tapping — no digging through menus. For operations where RFID tags are already part of the workflow, the printer supports RFID, opening up uses in stock management and goods tracking. USB 2.0 handles the connection when you're working from a computer, and the Micro SD card slot adds storage if you need it.

Seven function keys and a clear display

The LCD display shows the printer's status at a glance — no guesswork about whether it's ready or has run out of labels. Seven function keys keep the most common actions within reach without going three levels into a menu. The real-time clock (RTC) stamps printed documents with the correct time when that matters for your records.

Works with the POS system you already have

OPOS emulation means the Alpha 40L operates with most point-of-sale systems straight away, without custom drivers or a configuration project. With 128 MB RAM and 128 MB Flash on board, it handles everyday print jobs without hesitation.
