The TSC Alpha-40L is a compact direct thermal label printer built to go where the work is. There is no need to wire it to a fixed spot under the counter: it connects via USB-C, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi (802.11ac), NFC, or Micro SD — whichever fits your setup on any given day.

Prints where you are, not where the cable reaches

The Alpha-40L runs on an extended battery included in the box, so you can move between the shop floor, the stockroom, or the service bay without hunting for a socket. The belt clip, EU power supply, and power cable are all included — take it out of the box and you are ready to print.

LCD display and real-time clock take the guesswork out

The built-in LCD shows printer status at a glance — you can see immediately whether the label roll is running low or the connection has dropped, without stopping to investigate. The real-time clock (RTC) records the correct time directly on the device, so any label that needs a timestamp gets one automatically, without relying on a separate system to supply it.

Linerless support means less waste and more labels per roll

The Alpha-40L supports linerless labels — labels without a backing liner. In practice, this means no liner strip accumulating on the floor and more labels fitting on the same roll compared with traditional media. For a busy stockroom or retail counter, that adds up to fewer roll changes and less paper waste across the working day.
