## Description

A short power cut is enough to crash the till mid-payment. The Back-UPS CS 650 keeps the till computer, card terminal and router running through the cut.

### The till keeps working

Three outlets have battery backup and surge protection; the fourth is surge-only, for example for a receipt printer. APC gives a typical runtime of about 17 minutes for a computer and monitor.

### The PC shuts down cleanly

A USB cable is included. With the UPS connected, PowerChute software can save work and shut the computer down before the battery runs out.

### Mind the socket type

The outlets are IEC C13, so devices connect with computer power cables (C14 to C13), not ordinary wall plugs. The battery is user-replaceable.
