Description
A short power cut is enough to crash a POS system mid-payment and cut the card terminal's internet connection. The BX500MI keeps the till computer, router and card terminal running through the cut.
Time to shut down properly
In a longer cut, the UPS gives you time to save and shut down properly. Automatic voltage regulation (AVR) also smooths out voltage dips without switching to battery.
Mind the socket type
The outlets are IEC C13, so devices connect with computer power cables (C14 to C13), not ordinary wall plugs.
